Adoption
Become an adoptive parent!
Our Community Our Kids helps find forever families for children that have survived trauma and neglect.
Adoption means having a forever home, having a forever family, and always having somewhere to go. OCOK’s Adoption team actively is recruiting for at least 60 children at a time. They work closely with Permanency staff members to recruit adoptive parents for the kids on the Permanency case load that have no families. Adoption personnel also work directly with Child Placing Agencies to find compatible homes for them.
Attend a foster care and adoption information meeting.
