Wise
817.788.2360 We implore a vital 2:1 camper-to-counselor ratio that provides the child with a distinctive camp experience. This 2:1 ratio provides a personal atmosphere that encourages two-way communication and trusting relationships with these children. All the children in attendance have similar backgrounds and therefore do not feel like they are “different” or will be ridiculed. The curriculum and activities are designed to build self-confidence and self-esteem in a nurturing environment. All camp counselors and volunteer staff are trained specifically for the unique needs and behaviors of children of abuse and neglect.
