817.392.4390 The Tarrant County Sheriff’s Office Victim Assistance Coordinator is responsible for providing all victims of violent crimes with support from the time of initial victimization until the case is turned over to the Tarrant County District Attorney’s Office. In addition to assisting victims throughout the criminal justice system, the Coordinator also provides referrals to local social service agencies to meet the emotional and physical needs of the victim. Other services to victims include, but are not limited to, accompaniment to the hospital, assistance in relocating to a shelter and coordinating with other law enforcement agencies and social service agencies whenever necessary.

254.968.2143 The program is designed for young adults from ages 18-22, who have aged out of foster care and need a base of support beneath them as they transition to life on their own. This independent living program is ideally suited to Stephenville, which offers a junior college, a university, and many great employment opportunities. Residents are expected to maintain student status, employment status, or a combination of both. Guidance and counseling will be available for residents as they spread their wings on the runway to a successful adult life.
