Behavioral Children’s Hospital | 682-885-3917 | When a child is in crisis and requires 24 hour supervision, they are admitted into our inpatient psychiatry program. Our focus is on crisis stabilization and returning the child to his or her home as soon as possible, usually within 6-7 days. Our inpatient program is the only inpatient, not-for-profit program in North Texas exclusively for children ages 2 through 12. We are also one of the few programs that offer treatment for children who have profound autism or intellectual or developmental disabilities. We also accept children with complex medical conditions that other freestanding psychiatric facilities are not able to treat. Our 15-bed unit, located in the Rees Jones Behavioral Health Center on the campus of Cook Children’s Medical Center, provides a highly structured and intensive method of care. | ||
